The mission

Stable work starts with stable ground

Veterans Alliance of Oklahoma, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit doing business in Texas as Veterans Alliance of Texas, exists to move homeless and unemployed veterans from crisis to careers. We give veterans a stable place to live, train them in the skilled trades employers are hiring for right now, and place them in jobs that pay a steady, lasting wage.

Veterans leave the service with the discipline, teamwork and work ethic the trades depend on, yet too many end up without housing or steady work. We believe a veteran with a safe place to sleep, a trade certification and an employer who knows their value can build a life that lasts.

Step 1

Housing stability

Connect veterans with safe housing and the basics they need before a first day on the job.

Step 2

Skills training

Hands-on training and certifications in the trades employers are hiring for right now.

Step 3

Job placement

Direct introductions to contractors and employer partners, with support through the first months.
